Introducing India’s first modular motorhome engineered for real-world travel — not conversions.
A New Era for Motorhomes in India
India is witnessing a quiet revolution. As more travelers look to explore at their own pace — from the forests of Karnataka to the cliffs of Ladakh — the demand for self-contained motorhomes is rising.
But here’s the truth: India doesn’t just need any motorhome. It needs a solution that’s:
- Built for its roads
- Backed by service
- Safe, sustainable, and future-ready
That’s where Club Campers steps in — with a one-of-a-kind motorhome that blends 100 years of American RV engineering with the backbone of Indian logistics: the Tata Ultra T7.
Why Forest River?
In the United States, Forest River is a household name. A part of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway group, Forest River manufactures over 100,000 RVs annually — from luxury Class A buses to compact trailers.
The Catalina Summit Series 184BHS, the cabin chosen by Club Campers, is:
- Lightweight yet insulated
- Slide-out enabled
- Rollover-tested and wind-sealed
- Built with decades of camping & climate knowledge
This is not a converted cargo box. It’s a purpose-built, certified RV module that’s been adapted, not compromised.
🔧 Each unit is manufactured under strict U.S. RVIA regulations for plumbing, electric, and gas safety.
Why Tata Ultra T7?
When we scouted for a chassis, we didn’t just want strength — we wanted reliability, serviceability, and compatibility with Indian roads.
The Tata Ultra T7 ticked every box:
- Low NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness)
- High ground clearance
- GVW of 7490 kg — perfect for motorhome load distribution
- 4-cylinder BS-VI engine
- Available nationwide service network
Used in passenger minibuses and last-mile delivery, it’s road-tested, and now — RV-ready.

Reverse-Mount Engineering: The Signature Innovation
Most motorhomes either tow a trailer or mount a small room onto a van. Neither option fully solves the Indian use case.
Club Campers introduces something India has never seen:
🟢 Reverse-mounted, slide-out-enabled modular cabin + 🟢 Commercial bus chassis powertrain
What does “reverse mount” mean?
- The rear of the Forest River trailer (flat surface) is attached to the Tata cab
- The front of the trailer (normally facing a towing vehicle) becomes the aerodynamic tail
- The door side aligns with left-hand traffic norms in India
- Engine service remains accessible and modular
Why this matters:
- Better weight distribution
- Seamless driver-cabin access
- No need to fabricate transitions or cut metal
- Maintains cabin integrity (safer in crashes)
Inside the Motorhome: Comfort by Design
The interior of the Catalina 184BHS is compact yet luxurious:
🛏️ Murphy Bed + Queen Bunkbeds
🪟 Slide-Out Dinette Space
🧑🍳 Fully Equipped Kitchen (fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove)
🚿 Washroom with Shower + Toilet
🔌 Pre-wired for solar, AC, and lithium battery integration
Everything is crafted using materials tested for vibration, thermal stability, and real-world use.
Unlike local fabricators using plywood and quick-glue panels, Forest River’s RVs use aluminum-framed structures and heat-sealed vinyl flooring — built to last, clean, and function in both mountain chill and coastal humidity.
The Club Campers Advantage: Built for India, Not Just Imported
We didn’t just slap a U.S. trailer onto an Indian truck.
We re-engineered the union:
- Steel subframe to absorb chassis flex
- Reverse load channels for slide-out compatibility
- Indian-spec electrics, plumbing, and left-hand entry door
- Factory integration of solar-prep, 12V appliances, and inverter systems
We also removed the biggest flaw in DIY builds: guesswork.
🟢 This motorhome is tested.
🟢 Every part has a VIN.
🟢 RTO registration, insurance, and resale are enabled from Day 1.
Sustainability by Design: Swap the Engine, Not the Cabin
Most RVs in India age quickly because the base vehicle becomes obsolete.
With Club Campers, the motorhome cabin — which contains 80% of the comfort, luxury, and cost — is designed to be re-mounted on a new chassis after 7–10 years.
This means:
- Lower total cost of ownership
- Less waste and scrapping
- Support for upcoming electric or hybrid base platforms
It’s how aircraft cabins are refurbished. It’s how global logistics works. And now, it’s how India will motorhome.
How This Changes the Game
| Feature | DIY/Conversion | Club Campers |
| Chassis Safety | Unverified | Crash-tested Tata Ultra |
| Cabin Build | Plywood + foam | Forest River certified |
| Slide-Out | Rare/unstable | Factory slide-out |
| Engine Upgrade | Requires total rebuild | Swappable |
Conclusion: Made to Explore. Built to Last.
For decades, Indian travelers have been underserved — offered either imported monsters too big for our roads, or DIY conversions with safety shortcuts.
The Club Campers Motorhome offers a third path:
✅ Designed like an American RV
✅ Built on Indian roads and regulations
✅ Affordable, modular, and ready now
